That was our final medal tally across both Littles & Youth State Championships, culminating in one of our most successful State Championship hauls in recent times!

To those athletes whose results werenβt what you were hoping for: donβt give up. Be committed. Train smart. Try your best. Have fun. Do these things consistently and your turn will come.

Some stats for you (only back to 2014 is available):
π Our medal tally from 2019 (there were no champs in 2020) was 5 Gold and 2 bronze medals
π We had 11 x Top 8 finishers compared to 12 x Top 8 finishes in 2019
π Our girls delivered 7 of our medals β including all of the Gold medals
π Our boys won 2 x silver and 3 x bronze
π We had our first relay team (for either boys or girls) qualify for the State Champs (not State Relays). Our Junior Boys team finished in 4th place
π Our medals were spread across the following event groups: Sprints x 1; Distance x 6; Jumps x 1; Throws x 4
π Our 4th to 8th place finishers came from the following event groups: Sprints x 6; Distance x 2; Walks x 1; Jumps x 1; Throws x 1
