Entries are now open for the Canterbury & Inner West Little Athletics Track Meet. Hurry though – entries will close this Friday, 11 December at midnight.
The meet details are:
When: Wednesday, 16 December 2020 from 6.00pm – 9.00pm (estimated finish time)
Where: The Crest Athletics Track, Georges Hall (commonly known as Bankstown Athletics Track)
Who: strictly for U9 athletes and above
An order of events will be published following the close of entries.
How do I enter?
Step One: Go to your Family Log In for Results HQ located on our website homepage.
Step Two: Enter your login details for Results HQ. This is the email that you’ve used to register for Little Athletics.
Step Three: Go to Nominations on the top menu bar, then click on Begin Nomination.
Step Four: Click begin nomination
Step Five: Then select your athlete and the events they would like to compete in. We recommend a maximum of four events. Click next and follow the prompts to finalise the entry. You’ll receive a confirmation of entry via email.

Quick Questions
Q: Why are age groups restricted to U9 and above?
A: This is a special meet that CLAC & IWLAC are running to enable our athletes to achieve a qualifying performance on a synthetic track for entry into the Region 8 State Qualifying Event. This event will be held at Sylvania Waters Athletics Track on the 5-7 February 2021. Entries for that meet are being submitted from all clubs in our region based on club performances. We believe our athletes will be better placed to achieve selection if competing on a synthetic track which is why we’ve created this competition. A full track program will need to be conducted and unfortunately there isn’t enough time to include all age groups on this occasion.
Q: Why aren’t other field events available?
A: As we have had minimal time to organise this meet and we have only one night to conduct it, we have selected the events that create a greater difference when comparing grass to synthetic performances.
Q: What happens after we compete at the CLAC/IWLAC Meet?
A: Following our final Point Score Competition on Friday, 18/12 CLAC will submit entries to LANSW of all U9-U12 athletes who have achieved qualifying performances in their events. Each athlete can enter a maximum of four events. To notify us of your preferred events, please complete the Expression of Interest here. If no expression of interest is received, CLAC will select your four events. Attainment of the qualifying mark DOES NOT guarantee your entry to the Region 8 State Qualifying Event. LANSW will advise CLAC of the athletes who are selected to compete at the State Qualifying Event by mid-January and we will notify you then. Top performers at the State Qualifying Event will go on to compete at the LANSW Littles State Championships (U9-U12), which will be conducted at SOPAC on 20-21 March 2021.
Q: What happens for the U13 and above athletes and how do they qualify for the State Championships?
A: The LANSW Youth State Championships (U13-U17) will be held at SOPAC on 27-28 March 2021. A direct entry process will take place with qualification standards which will allow representation from all regions. This process will open in mid-January and will close in late-February. Details will be published closer to the opening of entries. We encourage our athletes in these age groups to take part in the CLAC/IWLAC meet to increase their chances of a better qualification mark.
Q: I don’t want to compete at the Region 8 State Qualifying Event but I want to compete in Bankstown. Can I?
A: Yes you can. Entry for the CLAC/IWLAC Meet is open to all CLAC and IWLAC members in the U9 and above age groups.
