A few quick Q&A’s to date:
Q: Do we have to book each week and each session?
A: Yes. The reason we ask you to do this is so you can select which session you will attend each day. You may attend sprints one week and then shot put the next.
Q: Can we add two kids at the same time?
A: No. As per the previous answer, we want to capture the details of each athlete and the specific session that they will be attending.
Q: Can I do more than one event each training day?
A: No. The duration of the training session is one hour in total (including warm up and warm down). This allows time for a quality technical session in one event only on the training day. You can book the following training day into the other event.
Q: Can I book into the same event each training session?
A: Yes you can however we strongly encourage you to book into different event sessions each week, especially in the field events. These training sessions are in place to help you learn how to do the events correctly… and this includes the events you might not like as much!
Q: Please advise if training is on today?
A: A decision on the cancellation of training will be made after 3.00pm on training days – pending the announcement of ground closures by Canterbury Bankstown Council. Only in the event of continuous rain prior to training days may we be in a position to make an announcement earlier.
Any questions can be sent to our Training Coordinator, Bronwyn Amy: training.coordinator@clac.org.au. We look forward to seeing you at a future training session!
