Annual General Meeting Notification and Call for Nominations
Canterbury Little Athletics Centre is run by a volunteer committee who are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Without our Committee members, our kids wouldn’t have a local club to participate with and for this, we say thanks to you all for your time, enthusiasm and efforts to deliver a positive experience for our families.
Our AGM will take place on Sunday, 31 May at 10.00am and will be conducted via Zoom. The great news is that this makes it much easier for people to attend from the comfort of their own home! We’ll circulate further details closer to time.
All interested members are invited and welcome to nominate for a role on the Committee or as an Age Manager (who are automatically part of the Committee). Nominations will close Sunday, 24 May – one week prior to the AGM.

All General Committee roles are one-year terms and will be vacated at the AGM. Executive roles are two-year terms with the following open for nominations: President; Secretary; Centre Manager.
This is a great opportunity to become involved in your local club and community. Each role has varying levels of time and skills required. We will provide you with support through a handover process and any training that is required. If you’re interested in being involved but you’re not sure how, we can point you in the right direction.
