Happy Mothers Day to all of our wonderful mum’s, thanks for all that you do!
A friendly reminder that our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will take place next Sunday, 21 May at 2.30pm. The venue is Canterbury Girls High School (School Hall), Church Street, Canterbury and everyone is welcome.
We will also hold a 2023/24 Season Planning Session immediately after the AGM. This will run for approximately 60-90 minutes.

2. Committee/Age Manager Nominations: thanks to everyone who has submitted their nomination forms to continue in their positions for next season or to step into new roles. If you haven’t submitted yours yet, please find them at the following links and send them to Mel: secretary@clac.org.au.
3. Nominations for President: Since the original AGM notification was circulated, I have resigned from the role of President. My kids are no longer participating in athletics and as committed as I have been to this club, my priorities must now be elsewhere. Therefore, we do need someone to step up into this role for the next 12 months (initially) and at the moment, no one has expressed interest or commitment to take on this role. Please, please, please – we need a President for our club. There is a fantastic group of knowledgable and committed people across our various Committee roles, with many processes and resources already in place. Please urgently reach out via president@clac.org.au to discuss how you can help.
As you know, Canterbury Athletics Club is run by a volunteer committee who are elected at the AGM. Without our Committee members, our kids won’t have a local club to participate with and for this, we say thanks to you all for your time, enthusiasm and efforts to deliver a positive experience for our members.
