Canterbury Little Athletics Centre is run by a volunteer committee who are elected at the Annual General Meeting (AGM). Without our Committee members, our kids wouldn’t have a local club to participate with and for this, we say thanks to you all for your time, enthusiasm and efforts to deliver a positive experience for our families.
Our 2021 AGM will take place at 1.30pm on Sunday, 16 May 2021 at:

All interested members are invited and welcome to nominate for a role on the Committee or as an Age Manager (who are automatically part of the Committee). Nominations will close Sunday, 9 May – one week prior to the AGM.

Executive roles are two-year terms with the following positions open for nominations this year: Vice President, Registrar and Treasurer.
All non-executive roles are General Committee roles and most are allocated to specific areas e.g. Uniform Officer, First Aid Officer, Training Coordinator etc. These are all one-year terms and are vacated at the AGM.
We would love to see some new faces come on board as General Committee members (not allocated to specific areas). This is a great way to get involved in the Committee for the first time, ‘dip your toe’ and familiarise yourself with our activities and jump in and help where you can.
There’s exciting plans ahead for our club – but these things don’t happen without your engagement, enthusiasm and time. You can help a little, or a lot – it’s all valued and appreciated.
