Our Canterbury athletes have done us proud at the Littles State Qualifying meet at Sylvania Waters.
The team spirit and camaraderie amongst our athletes is not something that can go unmentioned… new friendships were made and old friendships strengthened on the sidelines. The cheering and support for teammates was truly heartwarming – the screaming for the boys 4×100m relay was next level!!
A special mention to all of the athletes for whom this was their first carnival representing Canterbury. We hope the experience you had ignited a little spark that inspires you to continue, and come back to try again next season.

A big thanks to all of the parents for the time and effort you all put in. Huge thanks to our trusty CLAC Team Managers, Committee Members/Age Managers, coaches and parents for their work not only on the day but in the lead up to the event and for the transporting of tents etc back to the clubhouse. It’s a true team effort!
Most importantly, we’re extremely proud of every single athlete who wore the blue and white for Canterbury and gave their best on the day. Sometimes it goes our way and other days, not so much. But that’s ok, that’s competition. As long as you had fun and tried your best – that’s what it’s all about.
