Track Marshalls
Canterbury Athletics Club, like all Little Athletics are powered by volunteers from our community. We rely on a strong team of active, regular volunteers to help ensure that the events run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Every volunteer role is important.

Where do I go when I arrive?
Please say hello to one of the team at Results Entry and let them know you are a Track Marshall tonight.
Straight Track Marshalls
Please stand at the end of the track near the track crossing and at the end of the straight track near Princess Street.
- Your job is to ensure athletes stay in their lanes and remain in their lane order at the end of the race and as you walk them over to the results table
- You will need to get them to face the table so the results entry person can easily see the athletes bib number
- Once all data has been entered, ask the athletes to sit in the stands near the results entry table and wait for the remainder of their age group
Circular Track Marshalls
