Canterbury Athletics Club, like all Little Athletics are powered by volunteers from our community. We rely on a strong team of active, regular volunteers to help ensure that the events run as smoothly and efficiently as possible. Every volunteer role is important.

Where do I go when I arrive?
Upon arrival please head to the canteen. Jackie, our Canteen Manager will be able to give you specific instructions and check you in for your duty.
What is expected of me on the night?
In general:
Selling products and recording sales. All transactions are recorded using the “Square” application on the tablets. Both cash and card payments are accepted. Tokens are provided for the BBQ
- 1st shift: Cutting bread rolls, washing and cutting tomatoes, washing lettuce etc.
- 2nd shift: You will be required to assist in washing up any plates and utensils that have been used. The canteen bench will also need to be wiped down. Please assist the BBQ volunteers with bringing in excess food and any equipment that was used.
What H&S precautions do I need to take?
Please wear rubber gloves when handling food.
When can I leave?
- 1st shift: Once the 2nd shift volunteers arrive.
- 2nd shift: Once pack up/clean up is complete.
