We will endeavour to make a decision by 4 pm on the day of competition and training as to whether competition is to be suspended or abandoned. Competition will cease immediately if there is lightning in the vicinity but recommence after 30 minutes, safety permitting.
We will follow the LANSW weather policies for cancellation due to lightning, poor air quality or extreme heat. You may view these policies below.
Depending on weather conditions, competition may continue, but some events may be cancelled.
The closure of Campbell Field due to wet weather is decided by Canterbury Bankstown Council. Their ground information is updated at approximately 2:30 pm each weekday afternoon and is listed on their website.
Notification of any changes will be made via WhatsApp in the Canterbury Athletics announcements channel.
